If you want to indicate your connection with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on the Internet, then you need a .vc registration. The .vc extension is the top level domain name for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, an island nation in the Caribbean Sea. The .vc domain registrations are managed by Tucows through Cariaccess Communications Ltd.
The .vc domain registration is open to all and the registration is unlimited. The .vc domain names are mostly provided for one or two years on a first-come, first-served basis. All individuals and entities wishing to apply for .vc registration are required to check the availability and pricing of the .vc domains. The second level domains that can be registered in the .vc domain are org.vc, .com.vc, and net.vc.
In order to register a .vc domain name, all applicants must forward the application in the prescribed format specified in the registration policy. Applicants need to submit complete and precise information about their personal, administrative and technical contacts. The application for domain name registration will be duly rejected if an applicant fails to provide relevant and genuine facts needed for registration. The right to terminate an application is vested in both Tucows and the Registry.
All registrants must adhere to the terms and conditions as long as the registration agreement persists. The agreement shall cease to exist when the domain name is transferred to another Registrar. The Registry will not be responsible for any harm caused due to any unfair or illegal use of the .vc domain name. Therefore, the registrant must ensure that he is not using a domain name that is identical to an existing trade mark or business and that which may infringe on the rights of any third party.
The term of Registration Agreement shall be extended, upon paying the renewal fees every year for each domain name. The fees are non-refundable, which can be paid either by cash, cheque or credit card. Registrants can modify their account with the help of the Account Identifier or Password provided at the time of registration.
All registrants are required to be constantly aware of all revisions and changes made in the policy. If any registrant does not wish to comply with the new revision made in the agreement, he or she can terminate his agreement at any time. In addition to the Registry's terms and conditions, the registrant must agree to comply with the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy ("Dispute Policy"). |
